About the Role
The position oversees and directs the pre‑construction, engineering, and field installation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for the project. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner representatives; ensuring full compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and applicable codes; and leading, supervising, and evaluating the Turner MEP staff. The incumbent also manages daily activities of Engineer‑MEP, Superintendent‑MEP, and their teams while overseeing procurement, budgets, quality, safety, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and project close‑out. • Oversee pre‑construction, engineering, and field installation of all MEP systems. • Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owners. • Ensure compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and applicable codes. • Lead, supervise, and evaluate Turner MEP staff, including performance appraisals. • Manage daily activities of Engineer‑MEP, Superintendent‑MEP, and their subordinates. • Control MEP procurement, project budgets, quality, safety, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close‑out. • Identify design features that affect cost and recommend effective alternatives. • Present technical material clearly to diverse stakeholders.

What You Bring
The role is located in Dallas, TX, reporting to the Project Manager and Project Executive. It is a regular, salaried exempt position classified as experienced, requiring a bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of relevant experience. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and possess a minimum of ten years’ progressive experience in design, cost management, sequencing, logistics, and field installation of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to identify cost‑effective design alternatives and present technical information. Preferred qualifications include LEED accreditation, strong oral and written communication, advanced computer skills, and familiarity with project management and scheduling software. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and ladders, lifting up to 50 lb, and maintaining visual acuity; work environments may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.
