About the Role

• Lead and manage bridge and structure engineering projects from design through assessment, construction, and maintenance. • Apply cutting‑edge approaches in structural analysis, project control, and design solutions. • Communicate expertise to clients and colleagues via conversation, report writing, drawings, and sketches. • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and development of junior engineers. • Serve sectors including Energy, Rail, Highways, Water, Development, and Defence.

What You Bring

• Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and Chartered or near‑Chartered status with ICE or IStructE. • Commit to working 3‑4 days per week in the St Albans office. • Proficient with structural Eurocodes, National Highways (DMRB & MCHW) and Network Rail standards. • Demonstrate strong bridge‑engineering technical skills with a “right first time” quality focus. • Experience producing drawings, risk assessments, specifications, reports and interdisciplinary reviews on multi‑discipline projects. • Exhibit a growth mindset, innovative problem‑solving and openness to new tools, including AI.
