About the Role
The engineer will perform complex bridge engineering tasks, including extracting information from CAD drawings, preparing calculations, design details, and engineering exhibits. Duties also include in‑depth reviews of drawings, specifications, and third‑party designs, as well as cost‑benefit analyses of design options and preparation of technical presentations. Additional responsibilities involve reviewing supplier submittals, conducting bid analyses, and advising senior management on bridge engineering matters. • Execute advanced bridge design tasks, extracting CAD data and preparing engineering calculations. • Review and coordinate drawings, specifications, and third‑party designs across disciplines. • Conduct cost‑benefit analyses of design alternatives and present recommendations. • Evaluate supplier submittals, perform technical bid analyses, and deliver design presentations. • Advise senior management on bridge engineering matters.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a Master’s degree preferred, and possess at least 15 years of bridge design experience, especially with post‑tensioned box‑girder bridges in multi‑level urban interchanges. Experience should also cover steel plate and box‑girder bridges, foundation design, retaining walls, and box culverts, along with proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and strong presentation and communication skills. Preferred candidates have experience in design consultancy or PMC/PMO settings, Chartered status with an engineering body, and a track record of managing large tasks or projects.
