About the Role

The intern will collaborate with the IT/Cloud Product Applications team on Sales Cloud/CRM product development using CI/CD and agile processes, gaining exposure to system administration, provisioning, deployments, and org maintenance. They will also join the Service Cloud and custom platform development team, working with Cases, automation, and custom applications across Commercial and Gov Cloud instances. The role includes creating analysis and test plans with JIRA/Confluence/Quip, building regression tests using Copado Robotic Testing, and participating in Center of Excellence training sessions, preparing materials and research documents for internal and external users. The intern will support cross‑functional collaboration by working with IT, HR, and other teams to promote Salesforce management, share updates, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. They will help document processes, procedures, and best practices, contributing to standards and guidelines for Salesforce use cases. • Collaborate with IT/Cloud Product Applications team on Sales Cloud/CRM development using CI/CD and agile methods. • Perform system administration, provisioning, deployments, and org maintenance for Salesforce environments. • Develop Service Cloud and custom platform solutions, handling Cases, automation, and custom apps in Commercial and Gov Cloud instances. • Create analysis and test plans with JIRA/Confluence/Quip and build regression tests using Copado Robotic Testing. • Participate in Center of Excellence training, preparing materials and research documents for users. • Liaise with IT, HR, and other teams to promote Salesforce best practices and share updates. • Identify and recommend improvements to IT and HR Salesforce processes and tools. • Document Salesforce management processes, procedures, and standards.

What You Bring

Parsons is seeking a talented Salesforce Intern to join the team, focusing on various applications such as Sales Cloud/CRM, Service, and platform applications. This remote role serves the Los Angeles and Pasadena, CA markets. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, preferably in Information or Computer Science, and possess strong technical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are required, as is US Person status. Experience with Salesforce configuration or Apex code, AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini, and a Salesforce Admin Certification are advantageous but not mandatory. No security clearance is required. • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, preferably in Information or Computer Science. • Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; US Person status. • Desired: Salesforce configuration/Apex experience, AI tool familiarity, Salesforce Admin Certification.
