Job Highlights
About the Role
• Review electrical wiring and lighting plans, schedules, one‑line diagrams, and project details. • Audit and review models and drawings, preparing them for the production team. • Read and interpret plans and drawings. • Maintain project drawing files, layering, drawing library, and related documentation. • Perform limited design functions, including equipment layout and spatial planning in the electrical model. • Build 3D models using Revit/Evolve and NavisWorks. • Model electrical components in 3D. • Coordinate BIM, including clash detection and resolution with NavisWorks Manage. • Upload models and follow the General Contractor‑lead BIM coordination process through to model sign‑off. • Mentor and train detailers in producing detailed shop drawings. • Collaborate with Operations team, General Contractor, and MEP trade team members. • Assist in developing and maintaining FSG standards.

What You Bring
The entry‑level BIM Modeler will work with the Electrical Construction team to produce high‑quality drawings for new‑build construction projects and a variety of existing buildings at the Dallas, Texas location. Candidates must be able to work on electrical designs for commercial and retail projects, delivering designs and specifications within set timeframes and budgets. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, has knowledge of the electrical trade, and possesses BIM‑related software and modeling knowledge as a plus. Applicants must hold a licensed journeyman electrician credential with at least six years of experience, be able to pass drug and background screenings, and possess a valid driver’s license.
