About the Role

The incumbent will support the unit in achieving production targets by following established systems and processes. Responsibilities include operating shop floor machinery, interpreting technical diagrams, and converting raw materials or semi‑finished parts into finished components on schedule. All work must be executed according to Hitachi Energy’s standard processes, safety guidelines, and health‑and‑safety regulations. The employee will perform routine set‑up, adjustments, simple repairs, equipment maintenance, and quality testing while maintaining a clean work area. • Support unit to meet production targets following established systems. • Operate and maintain shop floor machinery safely. • Read and interpret technical diagrams for assembly tasks. • Convert raw or semi‑finished materials into finished components on schedule. • Perform routine set‑up, adjustments, simple repairs, and part replacements. • Conduct regular equipment maintenance, tool set‑up, and programming. • Execute quality testing as part of the defined production process. • Follow health and safety guidelines and report any non‑compliance. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and procedures.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and have 2–3 years of shop engineering experience, preferably in the transformer industry. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required, and the role demands adherence to internal and external compliance standards. • Hold a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. • Possess 2–3 years of shop engineering experience, preferably in transformer industry. • Demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English.
