About the Role
The Central Region Safety Manager advises and assists the senior construction site representative in establishing and managing ESHARP Management and Parsons SH&E processes, identifying and eliminating or controlling hazards to persons and property. The manager leads a team of safety specialists, inspects the job site to detect and correct safety hazards, initiates and conducts accident investigations, and prepares reports with root‑cause analysis. Additionally, the manager represents management during safety inspections by regulatory authorities or client representatives and handles safety inspection reports and corrective actions. • Advise senior site representative on ESHARP and SH&E processes to identify and control hazards. • Lead and manage a team of safety specialists; conduct site inspections and correct safety hazards. • Initiate and conduct accident investigations, determine root causes, and prepare reports. • Represent management during regulatory or client safety inspections and handle inspection reports. • Conduct risk assessments and provide technical assistance for safety planning.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking passionate, skilled, and experienced professionals to join a major program and construction management team dedicated to supporting a large government customer in delivering a significant infrastructure project central to the United States’ border security programs. In this role, the company will provide Owner‑Agent Construction Management Services, including program management, construction management, risk management, scheduling, cost estimating, progress reporting, construction quality assurance, safety, and other supporting services to ensure program success. Required qualifications include OSHA 30 certification, a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field (or equivalent experience), and typically five or more years of health and safety experience, including supervisory responsibilities. Heavy construction experience and prior federal government project experience are highly desired, as are professional safety certifications and thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations. Local applicants are strongly preferred, and candidates must have US person status and be able to obtain and maintain federal program site and system access. • Hold OSHA 30 certification and a BS in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent experience. • Possess at least five years of health and safety experience, including supervisory duties. • Heavy construction and prior federal government project experience highly desired. • Professional safety certification and thorough knowledge of industry regulations required. • US person status required; ability to obtain and maintain federal site and system access.
