About the Role
The manager will build and develop a multi‑country sales team, setting SMART objectives, providing coaching, and conducting regular performance reviews to maximise capabilities in HDLC technologies and consultative selling. Plans include substantial team expansion and strategic hiring aligned with market opportunities, fostering a resilient, entrepreneurial culture. Responsibility for European revenue targets includes creating go‑to‑market strategies for white‑space data‑center solutions and leading complex, cross‑border sales campaigns. The role requires monitoring AI/HPC market trends, analysing competitive dynamics and delivering market intelligence to product and business‑development teams, while representing nVent at industry events to enhance brand presence. • Lead and develop a multi‑country field sales team, setting SMART objectives and coaching on HDLC and data‑center solutions. • Own European revenue targets for HDLC, CDU, RDHx, iPDU and manifold products. • Design and execute go‑to‑market strategies for white‑space data‑center infrastructure across key markets. • Build and maintain senior relationships with global MTDCs (e.g., Equinix, Digital Realty) and large enterprise customers. • Drive complex, multi‑country sales campaigns coordinating technical and stakeholder teams. • Monitor AI/HPC and data‑center market trends, providing intelligence to product and business‑development teams. • Lead cross‑functional initiatives to overcome sales obstacles and establish market presence.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field (MBA preferred) and bring at least ten years of B2B technology sales experience, including five years of leading sales teams across Europe. Deep knowledge of AI/HPC infrastructure, liquid‑cooling solutions, and proven success with global MTDCs and large enterprises are essential, along with excellent English communication, additional European language skills, and strong presentation and negotiation abilities. nVent offers a global reach, diverse operations, a commitment to inclusion, and a values‑driven culture focused on innovation, integrity and customer focus. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related technical field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. • 10+ years of B2B technology sales experience with a proven track record of team leadership. • 5+ years managing sales teams across multiple European countries. • Deep AI/HPC industry knowledge and experience with liquid‑cooling or white‑space data‑center solutions. • Proven success selling to global MTDCs, large enterprises and handling complex technical sales cycles. • Excellent English communication; additional European languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian) highly preferred. • Strong presentation skills for customer and internal audiences. • Expert negotiator for complex, multi‑stakeholder deals. • Resilient and adaptable mindset in fast‑changing markets.
