About the Role

As a Leasing Professional you will manage all aspects of apartment rentals—from attracting and assessing potential residents to completing lease documentation and coordinating move‑in procedures. Direct interaction with prospects and current residents is critical to maintaining high occupancy and resident satisfaction. You will be expected to uphold Fair Housing Laws and all company policies, ensuring a compliant and ethical work environment. Only applicants who meet these requirements will be contacted for an interview. • Create applicant files, verify qualifications, and submit applications for approval • Lead prospects through vacant and model apartments, highlighting features • Process applicant information within 24 hours and schedule lease signings promptly • Maintain courteous communication with residents and stakeholders; promote retention programs • Conduct walk‑throughs of vacant units and track traffic to sustain high occupancy • Collaborate with office team, support property tasks, and flexibly adjust hours • Research community and competition, assist with mailings, flyers, and competitive property scouting • Follow up with prospective residents at least five times and respond quickly to calls and emails • Adhere to Fair Housing Laws and company policies

What You Bring

The position requires prior customer‑service experience, with leasing or sales experience considered a plus. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and auto insurance for travel between properties, as well as one to three months of related experience or equivalent education. • Provide outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a strong sales focus • Possess prior customer service experience; leasing or sales experience is a plus • Hold a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance for travel

We offer a competitive base pay of $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, plus $100 commission for each new lease, property‑shared staff renewal commissions, and a quarterly Morgan Essentials bonus of $300.
