About the Role
KBR is hiring an Intermediate Logistician / Purchasing Coordinator for its Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland location to support the Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics – Army (PM IS&A). The role involves coordinating purchases through contract vehicles such as the Common Hardware System (CHS and CHESS), defining requirements with stakeholders, securing funding approvals, tracking delivery orders, reporting status to senior leadership, and managing property accountability for equipment. • Coordinate purchases via CHS and CHESS contract vehicles • Define purchase requirements with stakeholders • Secure funding approvals for large‑scale acquisitions • Track multiple delivery orders over extended periods • Conduct property accountability and assist with equipment traceability • Maintain active Secret clearance • Provide professional training and development opportunities

What You Bring
Candidates must hold an active Secret clearance and a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration/Management, or a technical field, though a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) with additional experience may substitute for the degree. Required experience includes at least eight years of logistics work—preferably twelve years or CPL certification—and direct experience with CHS/CHESS purchasing, stakeholder requirement definition, large‑scale funding coordination, delivery order tracking, senior‑level reporting, and equipment traceability. • Report and brief status to senior leadership (O6+) • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration/Management, or Technical field (or CPL certification) • Possess at least eight years of logistics experience (twelve years acceptable or CPL with experience)
