About the Role
• Lead and manage the full design development lifecycle from concept to IFC documentation. • Provide expert guidance on architectural, structural, MEP, and specialty design disciplines. • Develop and implement design management strategies, processes, and standards. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure design alignment with project objectives. • Oversee external consultants, designers, and design‑build contractors for timely, high‑quality deliverables. • Review and approve design submissions, drawings, technical reports, and specifications. • Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, building codes, and international standards. • Manage design risks, identify issues early, and lead resolution strategies. • Facilitate value engineering initiatives to optimize cost, functionality, and sustainability. • Conduct design workshops, technical coordination meetings, and design reviews. • Support tendering activities, including technical evaluations and design clarifications. • Mentor junior design managers and technical staff. • Prepare periodic progress reports and present design status to senior management and stakeholders. • Travel to project sites, consultant offices, and design workshops as needed.

What You Bring
We are seeking a highly skilled Manager / Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Design Management to lead, coordinate, and oversee all design‑related activities for major real‑estate development projects. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in architectural and engineering design, strong leadership capabilities, and proven experience managing multidisciplinary design teams across concept, schematic, and detailed design stages. This role ensures the delivery of high‑quality, fully coordinated design packages that align with project goals, regulatory requirements, and the organization’s strategic vision. • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred. • Minimum 15 years of design management experience on large‑scale real‑estate, mixed‑use, hospitality, commercial, or infrastructure projects. • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary design teams and complex design packages. • Strong knowledge of international building codes, KSA regulations, and design best practices. • Experience working with global design firms and consultants. • High proficiency with BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related coordination tools. • Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem‑solving skills. • Ability to work under tight timelines and conduct value engineering.
