About the Role
The Land Surveyor will review drawings and related documents, supervise survey tasks, perform land and field surveys with geodetic calculations, and coordinate with clients and contractors to verify requirements. Responsibilities also include completing surveys on schedule and within budget, checking setting‑out, levels, and service locations, preparing sketches, maintaining field books and calculations, assisting with as‑built drawings, and adhering to site safety procedures and health‑and‑safety initiatives. • Review project drawings and supervise survey activities. • Perform land/field surveys and conduct geodetic calculations. • Coordinate with clients and contractors to verify survey requirements. • Complete surveying tasks on schedule, within man‑hour and cost budgets. • Check setting‑out, levels, and service locations while ensuring protection of existing services. • Prepare and maintain field sketches, books, and calculations; assist in creating as‑built drawings. • Observe site safety procedures and actively participate in health‑and‑safety initiatives.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Diploma or Associate degree in Land Surveying (or equivalent) and have at least 8 years of experience on landscape and infrastructure projects, including 4 years in a consultancy firm. Required skills include proficiency with CAD and survey software, total stations, data collectors, GPS equipment, and strong oral and written English communication. Preferred qualifications include working knowledge of construction sequences and standard industry procedures, as well as clear logical communication with management and staff.
