What You Bring
Parsons is seeking a Land Acquisition and Facilities Manager with extensive experience in land acquisition to support a major infrastructure project tied to United States border security programs. The role involves leading real‑estate acquisition efforts, collaborating with agencies such as DHS and USACE, and providing owner‑agent construction management services that include program management, risk management, scheduling, cost estimating, and quality assurance. The position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DHS suitability determination. It is part of Parsons’ corporate team, which has been shaping defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets for over 80 years. • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for DHS suitability determination. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in real‑estate and land acquisition management for infrastructure projects. • Strong knowledge of eminent domain and real‑estate transaction processes. • Proven leadership across all phases of real‑estate and facilities management. • Experience with project scheduling, cost estimating, and capital‑project management. • Familiarity with federal government processes and regulations, especially DHS and USACE. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. • Certifications such as IFMA CFM, FMP, or PMP (desired). • Proficiency with GIS for land‑acquisition analysis. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaison with agencies, owners, and internal teams. • Experience using project‑management tools like MS Project or Primavera P6. • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive program success.
