About the Role
In this role, under Global Procurement leadership, you will manage procurement and ensure quality execution for complex categories of Major Capital Equipment (MCE) across regions. The position supports both regional and global category management functions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality products on time. • Collaborate with design, construction, and commissioning teams to communicate quality risks and ensure on-time delivery of major capital equipment. • Update supplier performance, manage team growth, set goals, and resolve resource or budget issues. • Lead quality improvement initiatives, conduct 8D failure analysis, and drive corrective and preventative actions for capital purchases. • Perform root‑cause analysis with internal stakeholders and suppliers, conduct facility inspections, and implement lessons learned. • Drive cost‑reduction projects, maintain forecasts, and reduce the cost of poor quality. • Manage supplier relationships for complex power and mechanical infrastructure, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and support new supplier selection. • Ensure key performance indicators, manage people and financial resources, and apply project‑management methodologies.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field (or equivalent experience). • 10+ years in quality engineering, manufacturing quality, supplier quality, supplier management, or category management. • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities. • Flexibility and adaptability with willingness to travel up to 50%. • Preferred: Master’s degree or MBA and experience with large‑scale industrial engineering or construction programs such as data centers.

Benefits
The targeted pay range for this position in Seattle, United States, is $150,000 – $224,000 USD annually. Pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new‑hire compensation based on role, level, and location, with individual pay adjusted for skills, experience, and education.
