About the Role
The Technician, Container Shop is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing compactors and other stationary equipment. This role frequently involves work on hydraulics, basic electrical systems, and welding fabrication to ensure safe and productive operations. Key duties include conducting inspections, diagnostic tests, and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment, reading electrical and hydraulic schematics, and troubleshooting both single‑ and three‑phase AC systems, including high‑voltage electricity. The technician also assists with scheduled installations, performs welding and fabrication tasks, and completes related paperwork promptly. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair compactors and other stationary equipment • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled installations • Troubleshoot and repair single‑ and three‑phase AC systems, including high‑voltage work • Conduct welding and fabrication as required • Complete paperwork and data entry accurately and promptly • Follow all safety policies and procedures

What You Bring
Candidates must have solid experience in equipment maintenance and repair, as well as welding or fabrication skills.
