About the Role

The position requires independent work on BIM/CAD assignments across multiple engineering disciplines, producing accurate 2D drawings and 3D models, and ensuring quality through QA/QC and construction administration. You will develop equipment, conduit, and device layouts, floor plans, riser diagrams, and cable schedules while collaborating with architects, contractors, and building owners. • Design Outside Plant pathways, MMR/IDF, cable tray, wireless AP, and structured cabling layouts using Revit or equivalent BIM tools. • Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for low‑voltage systems. • Integrate telecommunications, audio‑visual, security, and control systems into building designs. • Perform QA/QC of design packages and handle construction administration tasks. • Develop equipment, conduit, device layouts, floor plans, riser diagrams, and cable schedules. • Lead the telecom design team, mentor junior designers, and represent the discipline in client meetings. • Travel to project sites as required and adhere to workplace safety and WSP policies.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has 3‑5 years of experience designing low‑voltage systems for commercial or mission‑critical buildings, is highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, and holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to travel to project sites, and a commitment to safety and WSP policies are essential. • Possess 3‑5 years of experience designing low‑voltage systems for commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical facilities. • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit; hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, detail‑orientation, and self‑starting attitude. • Preferred: mission‑critical/data‑center experience, international project exposure, RCDD/DCDC certifications.
