About the Role

We are seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. The role includes installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, and offers opportunities to mentor junior technicians. Day‑to‑day duties include promoting a safe work environment, completing preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. The technician will also maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility, track and store inventory, and may travel up to 20% of the time. • Perform preventative maintenance on material handling equipment and document all procedures. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and related components. • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution systems. • Mentor junior technicians and support the Operations Maintenance team. • Follow safety protocols to promote a safe working environment. • Track and manage department inventory and supplies.

What You Bring

Required qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays, and at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment and performing predictive and preventative maintenance. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s or higher degree focused on mechanical or electrical fields, experience with automated conveyor systems and controls, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, and familiarity with OEM safety standards, CMMS, and robotic or electromechanical operations. The position demands repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, standing, and walking, with occasional lifts of up to 49 lb and regular handling of parts averaging 20 lb. Working conditions may involve small spaces, dust, fumes, temperature extremes, noise, vibration, and uneven or wet surfaces, as well as heights and maneuvering bulky equipment.
