About the Role

• Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects, from early-stage to detailed first-principles models. • Independently manage the estimating and cost-planning process at the project level. • Collect, analyze and share estimating data to support commercial intelligence. • Provide estimating assurance and support for major programme set-up. • Promote and develop best-practice estimating and cost-planning across the firm. • Contribute to departmental objectives and stay current on technical developments. • Engage with high-impact infrastructure projects worldwide.

What You Bring

The company is recruiting Lead or Senior Estimators with proven rail-sector experience to join its Estimating Hub. The successful candidate will embed within client organisations and provide estimating and commercial intelligence that supports project decision-making. • Hold a high-standard qualification in cost planning, estimating or quantity surveying with relevant experience. • Be a member or be progressing towards chartered status in a recognized professional body. • Possess in-depth knowledge of estimating processes, techniques and software packages. • Demonstrate proven experience delivering estimating or QS services on large rail projects.
