About the Role
You will be responsible for planning and executing technical projects, managing budgets and schedules, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams that include manufacturing, quality, engineering and purchasing resources. The role involves overseeing work breakdown structures, earned‑value assessments, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives across design, analysis, and hardware procurement. • Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects for propulsion system components. • Manage project budgets, schedules, WBS cost accounts, and earned‑value tracking. • Conduct risk management, continuous improvement, and cost‑reduction initiatives. • Oversee subcontractor delivery of LiftSystem hardware and sub‑systems. • Communicate technical results to program stakeholders.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in design or manufacturing engineering (or an advanced degree) and be eligible for U.S. security clearance. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of turbo‑machinery, gas‑turbine engines, Six Sigma Green Belt, and familiarity with IPPR, FPA, and FAIR processes. • Require Bachelor’s (or higher) in design/manufacturing engineering and U.S. citizenship for security clearance. • Preferred: turbo‑machinery knowledge, Six Sigma Green Belt, IPPR/FPA/FAIR familiarity.
