About the Role

The position supervises field construction of a large or complex project (or multiple projects), handling organization, planning, and scheduling to deliver on time, within budget, and to the specified quality. The Super‑Construction Manager reports to the Project Manager or Project Executive. • Act as primary liaison with owners, architects, and engineers for daily construction activities. • Participate in project pursuits, proposals, and presentations to help secure new work. • Lead, supervise, and develop Superintendents and other staff, including conducting performance appraisals. • Develop and implement project set‑up and site logistics plans, defining project‑specific scope of work. • Create overall project schedules, identify the critical path, and expedite critical materials and equipment. • Review and respond to subcontractor schedule impacts or productivity claims. • Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times. • Develop and manage the site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with safety standards and codes. • Make decisions regarding scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and trade staffing levels. • Document field issues that affect budget, quality, or schedule and respond to subcontractor inquiries. • Oversee trade work to promote coordinated operations and resolve local procedural, design, labor, equipment, and schedule issues. • Manage labor relations with subcontractors and Turner trade staff. • Implement mock‑ups, conduct testing, and manage review and approval processes. • Ensure all permits and insurance are current and serve as liaison to inspection agencies. • Perform duties as Stormwater Compliance Coordinator according to Turner’s compliance program. • Manage General Conditions and General Requirements to maintain project budget. • Oversee billing for Work‑In‑Place, including monthly estimates, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications. • Ensure installations comply with approved contract documents.

What You Bring

The job requires physical abilities such as climbing stairs and ladders, using construction hoists, and performing manual tasks while maintaining vision, hearing, and hand coordination. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, heights, fumes, weather conditions, and electrical hazards. • Bachelor’s degree plus four years of related training and at least 15 years of building construction experience (or equivalent). • Proficient in building systems, codes, construction methods, line and grade, and survey techniques. • Knowledge of subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, cost control, accounting, and scheduling software. • Ability to apply BIM and Lean technologies to projects. • Strong management, leadership, interpersonal, and written/ verbal communication skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. • Ideal candidates have 10+ years of project experience in the Health Care sector.

The role is based in the New York Main division, located at New York, NY 10001, and is classified as an experienced, regular, salaried exempt position. The estimated salary range is $180,000–$260,000 annually.
