About the Role

In the role of a Geologist, you will follow prescribed procedures, conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations, and assist in preparing service deliverable documents. You will perform routine scientific assignments using standard techniques on projects with clear objectives, work independently on small projects or support senior scientists on larger ones, and provide direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed. • Follow prescribed procedures, conduct analyses, and prepare design recommendations and service deliverables. • Perform routine scientific assignments using standard techniques on projects with clear objectives. • Work independently on small projects or assist senior scientists on larger projects. • Provide direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed. • Conduct field work and prepare technical reports, well diagrams, and boring logs (preferred). • Assess and classify soil and rock samples to determine geologic type.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include prior field‑work experience, and experience preparing technical reports, well diagrams, and boring logs. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science, Hydrogeology or a related field, the ability to assess and classify soil and rock samples, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The role may involve physically demanding tasks in adverse conditions, travel, and a commitment to our employee‑owned culture. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science, Hydrogeology, or a related field. • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong writing and communication skills. • Ability to work independently, collaborate in a team, and travel as required. • Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in rugged, remote, or extreme temperature environments.
