About the Role

As the Regional Business Development Manager for BESS & Edge in Hub Asia, you will lead business development across the Integrated Solutions portfolio, expanding segment, solution, and business‑model reach beyond current focus areas and deploying advanced, market‑tailored solutions. You will cultivate and expand relationships with key customers, identify new market segments, and co‑develop comprehensive solutions with industry partners. You will roll out innovative business models such as long‑term partnerships, exclusive developments, and the Base Load concept, introducing Frame Agreements and Capacity Reservation Agreements to secure opportunities while ensuring delivery capability and technical optimisation. You will also build strategic partnerships across industries to strengthen system‑level solutions and drive the implementation of integrated offerings that combine Hitachi and third‑party technologies. • Lead business development for BESS & Edge across Integrated Solutions in Hub Asia. • Build early customer engagement and pipeline for EMS, BESS, MV solutions, plant electrification, and industrial optimisation. • Expand relationships with key customers and explore new market segments. • Deploy innovative business models such as long‑term partnerships, Base Load concept, Frame Agreements, and Capacity Reservation Agreements. • Secure commercial agreements that deliver value for both customers and Hitachi Energy. • Establish strategic partnerships with parallel industries and key suppliers. • Drive development and implementation of integrated solutions using Hitachi and third‑party offerings.

What You Bring

The role requires 8–10 years of experience in strategic marketing, business development, or customer solutions—preferably in the energy sector—and a proven track record in the Asian energy market. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Marketing or a related field is required, together with strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, and proficiency in CRM and analytics tools such as Salesforce and Power BI. Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus. • Minimum 8–10 years experience in strategic marketing, business development, or customer solutions, preferably in the energy industry. • Proven track record in the Asian energy market and execution of go‑to‑market strategies. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or related field; strong commercial acumen. • Proficiency with CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI); fluent in English.
