About the Role

The Scheduling Dispatcher is responsible for creating, assigning, and dispatching preventative maintenance and on‑demand work orders to technicians, ensuring optimal utilization of technician resources. This role prepares daily schedules, supports facility‑management projects by planning technician assignments, and monitors work‑order progress to guarantee timely completion. • Prepare and distribute daily technician schedules to maximize resource utilization. • Assign work orders based on skill set, location, security clearance, and availability. • Receive service requests from the call center and document details into work orders. • Prioritize work orders by importance and impact. • Monitor work‑order progress and follow up to ensure timely completion. • Generate reports for work‑order monitoring and resource planning. • Re‑assign work orders as needed to maintain optimal technician utilization. • Support facility‑management projects by scheduling technicians for project work. • Work flexible shifts, be on‑call, and respond to emergencies. • Understand service request requirements and match them to appropriate technicians.

What You Bring

The position requires flexibility to work shifts, be on‑call, and respond to emergencies. Candidates should have 1‑3 years of dispatch, scheduling, or customer‑service experience, be able to work under pressure, prioritize and allocate work orders effectively, and possess strong communication and customer‑service skills. • Demonstrate 1–3 years of dispatch, scheduling, or customer‑service experience. • Work well under pressure and allocate work orders efficiently. • Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Excel, and quickly learn service‑management databases. • Exhibit strong customer‑service orientation, communication skills, and sense of urgency. • Knowledge of facility‑management services is an asset.
