About the Role

The role assists the Project Superintendent and Project Manager by performing a variety of tasks, ensuring project safety compliance, and inspecting engineering installations for specification and quality standards. Responsibilities include maintaining project documentation, interfacing with administrative field staff, and applying complete knowledge of procedures, policies, and business practices to plan and accomplish goals while working under general supervision. Work is performed primarily on active job sites where exposure to heavy machinery, elevated areas, airborne particles, varying weather, and electrical risks is common. Employees must wear personal protective equipment, remain alert, and adapt to noise levels ranging from moderate to high. • Assist the Project Superintendent and Project Manager with construction tasks. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and applicable safety riders. • Inspect engineering installations for adherence to specifications and quality standards. • Maintain project documentation and coordinate with administrative field staff. • Follow company policies and procedures to plan and achieve project goals. • Enforce corporate/industry/OSHA safety policies and manage jobsite safety. • Produce daily reports, incident reports, progress logs, and other construction documentation. • Work on‑site in Culpeper, VA with off‑hour and weekend availability as needed.

What You Bring

Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED and six years of construction experience, or equivalent education and experience. Preferred qualifications include six or more years of commercial construction, ground‑up project experience, sub‑contractor and vendor management, schedule coordination, OSHA 10/30‑hour certifications, and proficiency with construction software such as Procore or Bluebeam. The position demands physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to climb ladders, use hoists, lift up to 50 lb unassisted, and perform tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling in active construction zones. This role does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization, is not hybrid nor remote, and requires off‑hour and weekend availability as project demands. Qualified candidates must also pass a pre‑employment substance‑abuse test. • Hold required licenses, certificates, and OSHA 10/30‑hour certifications. • Minimum: HSD/GED and 6 years of construction experience. • Preferred: 6+ years commercial construction, ground‑up projects, sub‑contractor management, schedule coordination, and proficiency with Procore or Bluebeam. • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, and work in various terrain and weather conditions. • Position does not offer U.S. work‑authorization sponsorship and is not remote.
