Senior Pavements and Aviation Engineer
Lead design and delivery of airfield pavement projects across ANZ.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Lead technical delivery of airfield pavement projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons and service areas. • Apply airfield pavement design standards such as CASA, ICAO, FAA, and Australian guidelines. • Design and assess flexible and rigid pavements to withstand heavy aircraft loading and high operational demand. • Prepare and review reports, specifications and drawings from feasibility through construction support. • Interpret pavement investigation data (FWD, HWD, GPR, LWD, profiler, surface friction testing) for performance and safety. • Coordinate with airport operators, contractors and stakeholders to minimize disruption during live operations. • Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development in aviation pavements.

What You Bring
• Experienced pavement engineer, preferably RPEV, with 15+ years of relevant experience. • Demonstrated project delivery, technical leadership and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on high‑quality client outcomes.
