About the Role
The Construction Laborer assists craft workers with physical tasks on job sites, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient environment while supporting overall project goals. Key duties include signaling equipment operators, leveling earth, mixing and finishing concrete, applying protective coatings, handling mechanical components, and performing a variety of hand‑tool tasks such as torqueing bolts, sawing lumber, and demolition. The role also involves tool maintenance, site assistance, and occasional travel to different locations on short notice. • Promote and comply with company safety policies and procedures • Complete all required safety documentation • Signal equipment operators to align and move machinery for loading and unloading • Level earth to fine grade specifications using shovels or hand tools • Mix concrete or grout with a portable mixer • Position, join, align, and connect pumps, motors, and other mechanical parts • Apply paints or bituminous compounds to surfaces for protection • Spray water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco to clean, coat, or seal surfaces • Apply caulking compounds by hand or with a caulking gun to seal crevices • Grind, sand, or polish concrete and steel using abrasive tools or machines • Perform hand and tool tasks such as torqueing bolts, assembling metal parts, building bolt cages, vibrating concrete, sawing lumber, dismantling forms, and demolition • Provide site assistance as needed • Care for and maintain assigned tools • Perform physical labor on construction sites • Travel to different job sites on short notice as required

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED with six to twelve months of construction experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. They must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, be able to read and follow technical documents, and possess basic math skills for measurements and torque calculations. • Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using float, trowel, or screed • High school diploma or GED with 6‑12 months construction experience (or equivalent training/experience) • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals • Basic math skills for calculations involving units, weight, volume, force, pressure, and torque • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and meet precise accuracy standards

Compensation ranges from $24 to $26 per hour, with performance‑based reviews and merit increases.
