About the Role
The Assistant Workplace Operations & Technical Manager works closely with the India Workplace Operations & Hospitality Lead and cross‑functional teams, acting as the second point of contact for facilities. This role ensures seamless day‑to‑day office operations while maintaining the highest standards of service delivery across all technical and soft services. • Own all office technical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety) and perform daily checks and preventative maintenance. • Manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule, conduct regular inspections, and respond urgently to technical issues via the facilities helpdesk. • Serve as primary liaison for vendors, contractors, and building management; oversee contracts, performance standards, coordination, and documentation. • Assist with budget preparation, tracking, forecasting, and ensure operations stay within budget while providing transparent reporting to finance. • Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and technical supplies to support maintenance programs and avoid operational delays. • Ensure all technical operations, maintenance activities, and vendor work comply with safety regulations and company standards, proactively identifying and resolving safety risks.
