About the Role

The Content Strategist / UX Writer will join the fast‑growing Digital Design Team to shape the language of Schneider’s digital products. This role involves creating clear, concise, and engaging UI text, microcopy, and documentation that enhance usability and guide users through interfaces consistently across all products and services. • Write and edit UI microcopy and interface text to improve usability and engagement. • Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, tutorials, and best‑practice resources for designers and developers. • Develop user‑centered content that simplifies complex ideas for a broad audience. • Collaborate with designers, researchers, developers, product managers, and ops teams to align content with user needs and product goals. • Participate in design reviews and define tone‑of‑voice across different user journeys and touchpoints. • Produce onboarding materials, FAQs, and other resources to support product adoption. • Contribute to the evolution of content strategy using user feedback and usage insights. • Perform quality‑assurance checks, accessibility audits, and support translation processes.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates have proven experience as a UX Writer or Technical Writer, strong editing and proofreading abilities, and the capacity to translate complex concepts into user‑friendly content. They understand UX principles, are familiar with documentation tools such as Confluence or Notion, and thrive in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment. A bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required, with additional experience in B2B/B2C platforms, user research, static‑site content updates, or style‑guide development considered a plus. • Demonstrated experience as a UX Writer, Technical Writer, or similar role in a digital product environment. • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into user‑friendly language. • Solid understanding of UX principles and user‑centered design methodology. • Proficiency with documentation tools such as Confluence, Notion, or similar platforms. • Organized, autonomous, and capable of juggling multiple priorities in a cross‑functional team. • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Design, or related field, or equivalent experience. • Preferred: experience writing for digital products or complex platforms (B2B/B2C). • Preferred: exposure to user research, usability testing, or static‑site content updates (e.g., VS Code). • Preferred: experience developing or maintaining a content style guide. • Preferred: curiosity about emerging trends in UX writing and content design.

Benefits

For this U.S.‑based full‑time role, the salary range is $115,000 – $125,000, inclusive of base pay and a short‑term incentive.
