About the Role

The incumbent will execute standard and ETO/DTO inquiries, develop complete drawing packages, work on engineering change requests (ECRs) and engineering change notices (ECNs), and assist in developing basic test plans from existing protocols. Additional duties include preparing design documents, installation instructions, and customer data sheets, as well as communicating effectively with cross‑functional teams and customers. • Execute standard and ETO/DTO inquiries and orders. • Create and modify 2D/3D layouts and assemblies per customer specifications. • Develop complete drawing packages and manage ECRs/ECNs. • Assist in basic test plan development and produce design documentation, installation instructions, and data sheets.

What You Bring

Regal Rexnord is seeking an experienced product design professional with a mechanical engineering background to support Design To Order (DTO) and Engineered To Order (ETO) projects involving component or layout designs. The role focuses on creating and modifying 2D/3D layouts and assemblies to meet customer requirements while adhering to engineering standards. A bachelor's degree in mechanical or production engineering and 1‑4 years of experience designing industrial products such as couplings, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, turbines, clutches, brakes, or material‑handling equipment is required. Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Creo, or Inventor), knowledge of GD&T and drafting standards, and strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are essential. The candidate should be self‑motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and possess a sense of urgency. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong interpersonal abilities, and willingness to travel regionally or globally (less than 10%) are also expected. English fluency is required; additional language skills are advantageous. • Communicate professionally with cross‑functional teams and customers. • Hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical/production engineering with 1‑4 years of industrial product design experience. • Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Creo, or Inventor) and knowledgeable in GD&T and drafting standards. • Demonstrate strong analytical, critical‑thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. • Self‑motivated, capable of minimal supervision, and maintain a sense of urgency. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Travel regionally or globally up to 10% of the time. • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
