About the Role
• Identify tools required for each task. • Identify safety risks and required precautions. • Assist in pouring, finishing, and smoothing concrete structures. • Assist in dismantling prefabricated and wooden forms. • Assist with miscellaneous construction processes. • Perform cleanup and housekeeping of work areas. • Work at heights, climb ladders, and use fall protection when required. • Wear personal protective equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, respirator, hi‑vis vest, gloves, and steel‑toed boots.

What You Bring
The role demands at least two years of industrial construction experience with concrete, demonstrating journeyman‑level knowledge of selecting, mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete, as well as familiarity with basic building techniques and form construction. The employee must be able to identify necessary tools and safety risks for each task. Physical demands include extensive standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting up to 50 lb, as well as working at heights, climbing ladders, and occasionally operating from scaffolding with appropriate fall protection. Work must be performed in all weather conditions while wearing required PPE such as hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, respirator, hi‑vis vest, gloves, and steel‑toed boots. Preferred qualifications include current or former Zachry employment, formal or technical education, and experience with carpentry, concrete, and rebar, though these are not required for the position. • Minimum 2+ years industrial concrete experience. • Journeyman‑level knowledge of concrete selection, mixing, pouring, and finishing. • Knowledge of materials, tools, and basic building techniques. • Reliable transportation and required tools. • Ability to work full schedule and overtime as needed. • Willingness to follow all safety rules and regulations. • Current or former Zachry employee preferred. • Formal/technical education preferred. • Experience with carpentry, concrete, and rebar preferred. • Stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift up to 50 lb.
