About the Role
The position’s primary objective is to deliver DST products on schedule, safely, and to the required quality standards, with performance measured through daily metrics reported to management. • Supervise DST operators and team leads in loading/unloading fixtures, coating, washing, and shipment preparation. • Ensure adherence to the daily production schedule, providing real‑time problem solving for maintenance, quality, or personnel issues. • Conduct training and onboarding for new DST employees and work alongside operators to meet production plans. • Perform receiving inspections of raw materials flagged in the ERP system and execute inventory transactions such as scrap, finished‑goods creation, and work‑in‑progress updates. • Address facilities issues affecting safety and workspace effectiveness, coordinating with external vendors to resolve them. • Oversee shipping and receiving staff, support all materials‑management functions, and assist with warehouse and inventory control. • Promote a safety‑first culture and communicate daily production performance using management metrics. • Conduct scheduled cycle counts of raw materials and finished goods and investigate any discrepancies. • Provide hands‑on assistance during DST changeovers and allocate resources to meet customer deadlines. • Manage material flow between raw materials, work‑in‑progress, and finished goods while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

What You Bring
• Maintain required physical ability to lift 50 lb, stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, walk, and operate machinery and power tools. • Minimum 5 years experience in a lean manufacturing environment; experience with materials and manufacturing planning preferred. • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Benefits
The Production Floor Manager reports to the Operations Manager and leads the Diamond Seal Technology (DST) operations at VaporTech’s Longmont, Colorado facility. This non‑exempt, full‑time role is a 12‑month project with hourly compensation between $30 and $45.
Work Environment
Onsite
