About the Role
VID acts as a strategic hub for high‑technology alliances with global business partners and other Hitachi Group companies. The specialist will coordinate and drive strategic sourcing‑to‑contract (S2C) activities, aligning cross‑functional teams and facilitating the adoption of headquarters‑led indirect procurement strategies. The position emphasizes stakeholder coordination, program execution, and the translation of procurement strategy into actionable outcomes. Key responsibilities include communicating procurement program objectives, maintaining tracking files and status reports, and conducting market analyses to identify potential suppliers. The specialist will draft, review, and recommend revisions to various contracts, support communication channels with business units, and perform data analysis to measure program performance. Additional duties involve collaborating with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and Hitachi Group companies to streamline post‑award processes and fulfill business needs. • Communicate procurement program objectives and processes to business units and regional teams. • Maintain tracking files, milestones, and status reports for Direct IT and Indirect lines. • Conduct competitive market analysis to identify potential partners and suppliers. • Draft, review, and recommend revisions to domestic and international contracts (NDAs, licensing, distribution, reseller, purchasing). • Serve as a liaison for business units, gathering information, answering inquiries, and guiding program adoption. • Facilitate clear communication to strengthen internal and external relationships and support business development. • Analyze program data to assess performance and impact on business goals. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support post‑award processes and streamline transactions.

What You Bring
Candidates must be highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a multicultural environment. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, 3–5 years of experience in contract review or business development, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Benefits
