About the Role

The Driver – CDL (A) safely operates heavy commercial trucks, tractor‑trailers, or straight trucks with pup trailers, providing prompt and courteous delivery and removal of large containers. The driver must ensure the vehicle complies with company safety standards and all state and federal regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. • Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Safely operate the truck along the assigned route, following route sheets and dispatcher instructions. • Operate manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste at designated facilities. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure timely service. • Perform minor repairs on containers on‑site or in the container yard. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers per departmental procedures. • Monitor waste for signs of unacceptable material. • Clean areas around accidental waste spills according to safety standards. • Continuously monitor vehicle condition and clean waste from containers on each trip. • Complete required route, productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports. • Maintain productivity standards to service all customers efficiently. • Follow all required safety policies and procedures. • Participate actively in the company’s ReSOP program. • Provide excellent customer service with professionalism, courtesy, and honesty. • Adhere to company policies, promote safety standards, and avoid inappropriate risks. • Access health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Utilize the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP). • Take part in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).

What You Bring

• Demonstrate strong time‑management and efficient completion of responsibilities. • Show reliable follow‑through on schedules and challenges. • Preferably have two years of commercial truck driving experience. • Exhibit mechanical aptitude to perform minor container repairs. • Hold a Class A Commercial Driver’s license with air‑brake endorsement.
