About the Role

The EUC Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and continuously improving endpoint and server environments across client ICT systems, ensuring secure, reliable, and performant access to computing resources. The role works under the Service Delivery Manager and partners with infrastructure and service delivery teams on platforms such as MECM, WSUS, and MDT. Key duties include day‑to‑day sustainment of EUC services, incident and change management, Standard Operating Environment (SOE) creation and maintenance, application packaging and deployment, and user file storage and profile management. The engineer also acts as an escalation point for complex incidents and participates in post‑incident reviews. • Sustain day‑to‑day EUC platform services, monitor endpoint performance, patch compliance, and availability. • Administer EUC services across multiple government networks with varying classifications. • Serve as primary escalation point for complex EUC incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. • Plan, test, and implement changes per change management processes; participate in CAB meetings to minimize user disruption. • Maintain and enhance SOE images for desktops and servers using MDT and SCCM; deploy OS updates and security patches. • Package, test, and deploy applications via SCCM/Tanium; manage version control and compatibility with the SOE. • Support enterprise user file storage, profile management, and data migration during SOE refreshes or system transitions.

What You Bring

Essential qualifications are at least three years of experience in EUC, Desktop Engineering, or Systems Administration, with hands‑on experience in Citrix Virtual Apps, SCCM/Tanium, MDT imaging, and Windows 10/11. The role requires an NV1 security clearance (upgradeable to NV2) and ITIL V3/4 Foundation certification, with additional Microsoft, Citrix, or Tanium certifications considered desirable. Required soft skills include strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication and documentation, a customer‑centric mindset, and the capacity to manage competing priorities while supporting multiple environments. • Possess 3+ years of experience in EUC, Desktop Engineering, or Systems Administration roles. • Demonstrated experience with Citrix Virtual Apps, SCCM/Tanium, MDT imaging, application packaging, patch management, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows 10/11. • Hold NV1 security clearance (upgradeable to NV2) and ITIL V3/4 Foundation certification. • Desirable: Microsoft (MD-102, MS-101), Citrix (CCA‑V) or Tanium certifications; Linux (RHEL) knowledge; PowerShell scripting; experience in secure/classified environments. • Exhibit strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills with a customer‑centric focus. • Ability to manage competing priorities, support multiple environments simultaneously, and work effectively in teams.
