About the Role

Responsible for assisting other craft workers with physical labor on jobsites while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient construction site and supporting the overall project. • Promote and comply with all company safety policies and procedures. • Complete required safety documentation. • Signal equipment operators to align, move, and adjust machinery for loading and unloading. • Level earth to fine‑grade specifications using shovel or hand tools. • Mix concrete or grout with a portable mixer. • Position, join, align and connect pumps, motors, and other mechanical parts. • Apply paints or bituminous compounds to surfaces for protection. • Spray water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco to clean, coat, or seal surfaces. • Apply caulking compounds by hand or with a caulking gun. • Grind, sand, or polish concrete and steel using abrasive tools or machines. • Perform hand‑tool tasks such as torqueing bolts, assembling metal parts, building bolt cages, vibrating concrete, sawing lumber, dismantling and removing forms, demolition, jackhammer use, and cleanup. • Provide site assistance as needed. • Care for and maintain assigned tools. • Perform physical labor on construction sites. • Travel to different jobsites on limited notice as required. • Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Work to precise standards of accuracy and follow established procedures.

Applicants should monitor their candidate profile for status updates. • Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using float, trowel or screed. • Hold a high school diploma or GED with 6‑12 months construction experience (or equivalent training/experience). • Perform basic arithmetic with units, weight, and volume. • Understand units of force, pressure, and torque and adjust tooling accordingly. • Follow written or oral instructions with common sense.

Compensation ranges from $24.00 to $26.50 per hour, based on experience, with regular performance reviews and merit increases.
