About the Role
The role is a fast‑paced, safety‑driven manager who coordinates design, planning, construction, maintenance and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings and facilities. The manager also establishes, implements, and maintains the Environmental Management System (EMS/ISO 14001) and reports to plant management. Responsibilities include maintaining OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 occupational health and safety systems, inspecting plant space and infrastructure, analyzing HVAC, networking and lighting, and planning budgets, schedules and cost estimates for facility modifications. The manager develops long‑range plans, conceptual designs, CAD documentation, prepares specifications for proposals and contracts, oversees construction compliance, liaises with public agencies, reviews real‑estate contracts, and directs maintenance staff and equipment installation. • Lead design, planning, construction, and maintenance of plant equipment and facilities. • Implement and maintain EMS (ISO 14001) and report compliance to plant leadership. • Maintain OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 occupational health and safety systems. • Inspect plant layout, HVAC, networking, lighting and evaluate space utilization. • Develop budgets, cost estimates, bid packages and schedules for facility projects. • Create long‑range facility plans, conceptual designs, CAD drawings and capital outlay forecasts. • Prepare specifications, solicit proposals, manage contracts and oversee construction compliance. • Act as liaison with borough, public utilities, environmental and energy agencies. • Review real‑estate contracts for regulatory compliance and occupancy suitability. • Direct maintenance personnel, equipment installation and preventive maintenance activities. • Ensure adherence to company Code of Conduct and Business Ethics.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field (or equivalent experience) and have at least eight years of maintenance and facilities experience in a manufacturing environment. Required skills include strong written and verbal communication, proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, time‑keeping tools like Kronos, and advanced MS Office, especially PowerPoint. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum eight years of maintenance and facilities experience in a manufacturing setting. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and timekeeping tools (e.g., Kronos). • Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
