About the Role
The position is slated to begin in May 2026 and will work within the Electrical Engineering Service & Systems group. The role provides on‑site engineering and technical assistance for electrical equipment maintenance, new equipment commissioning, custom equipment modifications, wiring, controls, drives, and breakers. The incumbent will assist field service personnel on a variety of electrical tasks, create detailed quality reports for customers, and follow required safety practices. Responsibilities also include managing paperwork and office procedures, delivering high‑quality work, and being available to work evenings, weekends, or travel as required. • Provide on‑site engineering support for electrical maintenance, commissioning, and custom modifications. • Assist field service staff with wiring, controls, drives, and breaker tasks. • Generate detailed work reports for customers. • Follow all safety protocols and manage related paperwork.

What You Bring
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a co‑op program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, reside within 120 km of the work location, hold a valid driver’s license, and be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship. Desired qualifications include 0–5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical controls or power distribution, strong organizational and analytical skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, proficiency in Microsoft Office, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, mechanical aptitude, and a good attitude and work ethic. • Must be enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or Technology co‑op program. • Reside within 120 km of the work site and hold a valid driver’s license. • Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship. • 0–5 years experience in manufacturing electrical controls or power distribution. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office suite; able to read schematics. • Demonstrate strong organization, analytical ability, mechanical aptitude, and a good work ethic.
