About the Role

Key responsibilities include interpreting prints and travelers, setting up an airless system, executing changeovers while maintaining FIFO, and recording lot data. The incumbent also performs paint thickness and adhesion measurements, conducts daily gun/booth preventive maintenance, manages waste and 5S compliance, and fills in for insulator and wash‑booth technicians as needed. • Interpret prints and travelers; set up airless system to specification. • Execute changeovers, record lot/batch data, maintain FIFO, minimize material loss. • Perform paint thickness and adhesion measurements; document results. • Conduct daily gun/booth preventive maintenance, filter changes, balance checks, and line clean‑outs; coordinate maintenance work orders. • Apply PPE, ventilation, and respirator protocols; manage waste and maintain 5S in spray area. • Fill in for insulator and wash‑booth technician as required. • Review travelers, prints, and insulation BOM; verify material availability and condition. • Complete vacuum check sheets and confirm vacuum integrity before insulation. • Cut, fit, and install insulation on shells, heads, and piping; apply adhesives, bands, or jacketing as specified.

What You Bring

Required qualifications are a High School diploma or GED, at least two years of industrial insulation or manufacturing assembly experience, and the physical ability to work in awkward positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
