About the Role
The Customer Support Specialist provides assistance and support to customers, sales, facility operations, and management by handling data entry, clerical tasks, records control, form creation, and report preparation. This role processes orders, prepares correspondence, and ensures customer satisfaction while managing internal and external communications via telephone and email. Key responsibilities include communicating with customers to gather information for waste profile approval, assisting with waste characterization and documentation in line with state and federal regulations, and maintaining customer profiles and contract filing systems. The specialist also coordinates profile and contract forms, collects deposits, processes address changes and discontinuance orders, researches operational concerns, prepares reports and shipment summaries, handles manifests, processes memos and correspondence, and reviews billing adjustments. • Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person to approve waste profiles • Assist customers with waste characterization and required documentation per regulations • Maintain and file customer profiles and contracts • Coordinate completion of profile and contract forms, collect deposits, and process address changes and discontinuance orders • Research operational concerns, resolve discrepancies, and prepare reports and shipment summaries • Prepare and distribute manifests, memos, correspondence, and review billing adjustments • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering courteous service • Utilize office equipment (scanner, copier, calculator) and MS Office Suite efficiently

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications require a customer‑service orientation, strong listening and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with office equipment and the MS Office Suite. Minimum qualifications include three or more years of related customer service experience. The pay range is $25.15 to $34.60 per hour, varying by locality.
