About the Role

The Account Manager builds relationships and develops plans to increase sales and profitability for mid‑size accounts, generates leads through market research and networking, contacts prospects, and executes profitable business plans. They collaborate with sales and corporate teams, are accountable for sales quota, margin, and expense objectives, resolve customer and service issues, maintain product knowledge, submit sales reports, and attend company meetings. • Build and manage relationships with mid‑size contractor accounts to drive sales and profitability. • Generate and qualify sales leads through market research, events, networking, and digital tools. • Develop and execute account‑specific business plans, meeting quota, margin, and expense targets. • Collaborate with internal sales and corporate teams to communicate pricing, offers, and support. • Resolve customer and service issues while maintaining up‑to‑date product knowledge. • Prepare and submit required sales administration reports and attend regular meetings.

What You Bring

Candidates typically have 2‑5 years of experience, must be able to operate a company or personal vehicle for more than 20% of the work week, and will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record check. Preferred qualifications include prior outside‑sales experience to professional contractors, familiarity with White Cap products, and Spanish language proficiency. • Possess 2–5 years of relevant sales experience and ability to use a vehicle >20% of work week (MVR required). • Preferred: outside‑sales experience to professional contractors, familiarity with White Cap products, and Spanish proficiency.
