About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead Clarion’s residential and mixed‑use developments across a diverse portfolio. You will manage a high‑performing team and key projects, delivering strong commercial outcomes and supporting the growth of our development programme. The role involves motivating the team to execute Clarion’s development strategy while overseeing operational performance and ensuring innovative, compliant design solutions. Strategic financial leadership is a core responsibility, including delivering analysis and modelling to inform decisions, managing budgets and risks, and supporting business planning to ensure value for money. You will be accountable for meeting key performance indicators and driving accountability across projects. • Lead residential and mixed‑use development projects across a diverse portfolio. • Manage and motivate a high‑performing development team to achieve commercial outcomes. • Oversee operational performance and ensure compliant, innovative design solutions. • Provide strategic financial leadership through analysis, modelling, budgeting and risk management. • Drive business planning to meet value‑for‑money goals and key performance indicators. • Apply a creative, commercial mindset and expertise in master planning and place creation.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has extensive residential development experience, strong leadership and stakeholder‑management skills, and a creative, commercial mindset. A solid background in master planning and place creation is essential, along with a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Professional qualifications such as RICS, RTPI or CIOB are desirable but not mandatory. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment, and understand Clarion’s responsible AI usage guidance. Benefits
The role is based in London at Greater London House and offers a permanent contract with a salary range of £100,044 to £125,055 plus a £5,000 car allowance.
