About the Role
The Mechanical Engineer will participate as a team member in all project activities, ensuring designs meet customer requirements, comply with quality standards, and are delivered on schedule. The role also includes creating technical drawings, maintaining bills of materials, troubleshooting issues, and supporting technical publications while adhering to safety protocols. • Develop designs that meet customer requirements while considering manufacturing constraints and assembly methods. • Ensure all designs comply with quality standards and industry regulations. • Manage individual workload and track progress to meet internal deadlines. • Create and release technical drawings in line with internal standards and industry best practice. • Release and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support production. • Troubleshoot shop‑floor or field issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and provide solutions. • Support the development of technical publications. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors for design clarifications or approvals. • Work safely in compliance with Sandvik’s safety management program.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a degree from an accredited engineering or technology program and be eligible for EGM or CTTAM registration. At least five years of design experience, CAD modeling proficiency (NX preferred), and familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, welded, and power‑train systems are required.
