About the Role

In this role you will help ensure plant and equipment meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets in high‑value manufacturing environments. What You Bring

As a Mechatronics Maintenance Technician you will install, test, fix and maintain complex automated equipment, drawing on mechanical, electrical/electronics, fluid power and control system knowledge. You’ll spend the first year gaining practical skills with an approved training provider, then three years rotating through attachments in the Civil Aerospace business while working on live projects and earning as you learn. The ideal candidate has at least four GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4/C, including Maths, English, Science (excluding Biology) and another subject, and shows a genuine interest in hands‑on engineering. You must be full of initiative, adaptable, eager to learn, and align with Rolls‑Royce behaviours: safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple, and make a difference. • Complete a year of practical training with an approved provider, followed by three years of attachments within the Civil Aerospace business. • Minimum 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4/C, including Maths, English, Science (excluding Biology), and another subject. • Demonstrate genuine interest in hands‑on engineering, such as fixing things or personal projects. • Show initiative, adaptability, eagerness to learn, and alignment with Rolls‑Royce behaviours (safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple, make a difference).
