Design and analyze traffic engineering projects, studies, and plans.

About the Role
• Design traffic engineering projects, prepare traffic studies, signal timing plans, operations analyses, microsimulation models, and technical reports. • Produce project plans and drawings for traffic signal design and intersection improvements. • Conduct research, collect traffic data, perform calculations, and execute transportation analyses. • Coordinate technical activities, manage project budgets and schedules, and collaborate with project teams. • Perform field work under the direction of a senior engineer.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or transportation engineering. • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas. • Minimum 3 + years of relevant experience. • Proficiency with MicroStation/AutoCAD, Synchro, VISSIM, and TRANSCAD. • Familiarity with MUTCD, HCM, and AASHTO geometric design standards. • Ability to work independently, manage time and budget, and solve problems. • Knowledge of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) applications and design.
