About the Role
• Determine piping system requirements and size pipes accordingly. • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes; interpret blueprints for residential and commercial plumbing layouts. • Install, replace, and repair valves, pumps, fixtures, and other piping components; test for leaks and other issues. • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance; respond to routine and on‑demand service requests. • Monitor and inspect plumbing systems to ensure uptime, safety, and compliance with building codes. • Document deficiencies, escalate issues, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. • Maintain an accurate inventory of tools and equipment, arranging repairs or replacements as needed. • Provide client observations, recommendations, and assist with facility‑related projects. • Submit all expenditures promptly and adhere to corporate and legislated environmental, health, and safety policies.

What You Bring
The Journeyperson Plumber must have at least five years of experience and a valid Certificate of Qualification for the province where the work is performed. The incumbent operates facility systems, conducts preventative and corrective maintenance, and provides routine services on mechanical and electrical equipment within company policy and trade certification. All work is performed in accordance with established processes and must comply with internal and external environmental, health, safety, security, and fire protection requirements. Applicants should be aware that artificial intelligence may be used in certain screening stages, but all final hiring decisions are made by human reviewers. • Hold a valid Journeyman‑level plumbing licence and a college diploma or certification. • Possess a minimum of five years' licensed plumbing experience with strong troubleshooting and safety mindsets. • Demonstrate effective communication, a client‑service orientation, urgency, and mentoring ability for junior technicians. • Be available for shift work, on‑call standby, and emergency call‑outs; wear required personal protective equipment and meet enhanced security clearance. • Preferred assets: progress toward BES Operation Class 1, Facilities Technician Certification, or Systems Maintenance Technician designation.
