About the Role
• Operate vehicle in compliance with WM Safety, OSHA, DOT, and all applicable laws. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and complete DVIR documentation. • Report unsafe conditions or service issues immediately to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Attend all required training programs, briefings, and meetings. • Work with Operations Manager to improve route efficiency and share best practices. • Notify Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage. • Inform Operations Manager/Dispatch of service interruptions such as closed streets, heavy receptacles, or safety hazards. • Communicate customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Dump all receptacles and leave the site clean and free of debris. • Follow assigned routes, complete end‑of‑day documentation, and perform checkout procedures. • Assist other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.

What You Bring
Preferred candidates should have at least one year of CDL experience, with manual transmission preferred but no CDL restrictions required. Drivers operate heavy‑duty trucks equipped with front, side, or rear‑end lift attachments, transporting waste or recyclable containers that can exceed 1,000 pounds. The role includes commercial, residential, and roll‑off driving, all of which demand expert backing maneuvers in high‑traffic, congested, and tight environments.
