About the Role
The role supports the Property Manager in overall operations, including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, collections, evictions, marketing, lease renewals, and expense control. It also involves providing superior customer service to residents and prospects to boost satisfaction, renewals, and profitability. • Ensure smooth running of the community in a fast‑paced environment. • Assist the Property Manager with maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. • Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to increase satisfaction, renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. • Complete lease and renewal paperwork according to company standards. • Track and evaluate advertising performance and client traffic. • Model and uphold the Cushman & Wakefield mission to be the best national management company. • Support day‑to‑day operations of the on‑site team while ensuring compliance with C&W policies and procedures. • Recruit, interview, hire, and coach on‑site staff as needed. • Maintain resident files in accordance with company standards. • Foster a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow‑up. • Manage overall community budget and financial performance. • Collaborate with leasing staff to achieve leasing and marketing goals. • Identify leasing opportunities for staff and set performance goals. • Supervise daily team operations ensuring adherence to C&W policies. • Work in a professional office setting using computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing equipment. • Travel regularly between properties in varying weather conditions.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and have at least three years of on‑site multifamily property management experience, including leasing and assistant management duties. Experience with delinquency processes, Yardi (or similar) systems, and affordable housing components is strongly desired. The position operates in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment and requiring regular travel between properties in various weather conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting up to 25 lb. • Demonstrate effective communication and customer service skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation. • Possess general office, bookkeeping, sales, oral and written communication abilities. • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively. • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma, GED, or technical/vocational education required. • 3+ years of on‑site multifamily property management experience, including leasing and assistant manager roles. • Experience owning the delinquency process, including communications, documentation, court proceedings, and evictions. • Strong preference for Yardi system experience; CRM/Knock knowledge helpful. • Preference for exposure to affordable property management components. • Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting up to 25 lb frequently.
