About the Role

Reporting to the Security Supervisor, you will be an integral part of the team that upholds our service commitment to clients across a range of sites. You will work closely with other security staff to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Downer plans, creates, and sustains essential public services throughout Australia and New Zealand, managing critical infrastructure such as hospitals, data centres, and defence partnerships. Our mission is to keep communities thriving by delivering reliable assets, infrastructure, and facilities. • Facilitate operation of security and access systems. • Maintain site surveillance, monitoring all personnel. • Monitor, manage, control and record all communications across the site. • Support Helpdesk Service as required. • Assist the Security Supervisor as needed.

Successful candidates will undergo a pre-employment medical, National Police Check, reference checks, VEVO check, and employment verification. • Australian citizenship. • Current Defence Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain it. • NSW or ACT Security Licence (or ability to acquire before commencement). • Certificate II in Security Operations (or ability to acquire before commencement). • Experience in security industries preferred. • Current NSW or ACT driver’s licence. • Ability to work a rotating roster. • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to high-quality outcomes.
