About the Role
Key duties include setting up and operating foam fixtures and related machinery, calculating and adjusting shot times for foam dispensing, and continuously monitoring machine performance. Operators perform basic troubleshooting of the fusion gun and system, read and interpret blueprints and shop orders, and measure materials and finished products to ensure dimensional and quality specifications are met. Additional tasks involve cutting and trimming foam blocks to required sizes and completing all Class I and II jobs as assigned. • Set up and operate foam fixtures; calculate and adjust shot times. • Monitor machine performance and perform basic troubleshooting of the fusion gun. • Read blueprints and shop orders; measure materials and ensure products meet quality specifications. • Cut and trim foam blocks; complete all Class I and II tasks. • Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards in a fast‑paced environment. • Work in an environment with moving parts, fumes, vibration, and loud noise. • Participate in high‑performance team activities and adhere to EEO policies.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and can read, write, and comprehend English instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals. Basic math abilities are required for adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and interpreting rates, percentages, and bar graphs. Applicants must demonstrate common‑sense reasoning, problem‑solving with concrete variables, and basic computer skills. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, and loud noise. Employees are required to stand, walk, use their hands, and occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, or crawl. Physical demands involve regularly lifting or moving up to 10 lb and occasionally up to 50 lb.
