About the Role
The Porter/Yard Worker role—also called Yard Associate—focuses on positioning and retrieving equipment on site, keeping a written maintenance schedule, and performing basic servicing to meet specifications. The associate also inspects tools before and after each rental, recording any loss or damage, and supports a safety-first culture. • Station and retrieve equipment on the location’s property • Maintain a written maintenance schedule and service equipment as needed • Inspect equipment before and after rental to document loss or damage • Perform basic repairs and ensure equipment meets specifications • Follow safety protocols and lift up to 50 pounds

What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED preferred • Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred • Some experience or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred • Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral) • Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) • General mechanical aptitude • Safety-focused mindset • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs
